Who is conducting this study?

This study is being conducted by researchers at Auburn University and Tulane University School of Public Health.

Who can participate?

Anyone who is a resident of Macon County, is above the age of 18, and received a letter in the mail that contained the study information is eligible to participate.

Why should I participate?

By participating in this study you would be helping to address the gaps in research facing people living in rural communities such as Macon County. Our hope is that results from this study will result in more resources to improve the health of people living in Macon County and other communities like yours. Play a part in making Macon Lives Healthier!

What is involved?

If you are eligible to participate, we will ask you to take a 60-minute survey about your health and your experiences living in Macon County. Once you finish the survey, we will give you a $30 Visa gift card for your time.
